April 5: Scatter Week

Go scatter this week, friends! Take this time to invest in friends and family that you haven't in a while. Take care, and we'll see you back next week.

Serving Week: SOS & Project Homeless Connect Monthly Meal
Be thinking of what way you want to serve the homeless next week. It would be great if you could sign up ASAP too. Here's the link: http://signup.com/go/P5Xc3d.

In case you haven't heard, this is how we're serving next week:

We're going to help out with a new service at Sonrise Church for homeless folks starting next month. They have a dinner and other services, partnering with Project Homeless Connect. It's from 5-8pm, but it's also ok if you need to get there late from work. They do encourage the volunteers to come and share the meal with the guests too, so no need to eat before you come.

(Also, if the official spots online fill up, feel free to still come!)

I really challenge you to take some time to think through how you can best serve with your skills and gifts. Some suggestions are making jewelry or painting nails, helping write resumes or conducting mock interviews, or even just socializing with guests, but the sky's the limit!

Bible Study
A few people have shown interest in a Bible study. We'll start next week after church, discussing what we want it to look like and what will work best for us.

Prayer/Sharing Time
Before church we've started meeting to have a time to share what's going on with us a little more personally, since sometimes community group conversations stay light-hearted. We meet at The Family Room at 9am, but any part of that that you come we'd love to have you.

(Eventually maybe we'd combine the Bible study and prayer time, we'll see.) Excited to be diving deeper with you, friends! That's all for now!
